School's Responsibility re: Reading Intervention
The U.S. is attempting to find a way to get specific reading instruction and interventions based on research into legislation so schools will have a responsibility to deliver this kind of reading intervention.
In your view, should Canada be more engaged in this process of specificity?
At the moment, a label does not lead to specific intervention in our country!
Also, labels can be avoided with early reading interventions that are based on research as they affect the neuronal development of the student.
Shouldn`t we be getting on the bandwagon to save these vulnerable smart kids from failure, shame and humiliation?
